BOB JONES DRUMLINE SIGNS WITH PRO-MARK STICKS AND PEARL DRUMS!

The Bob Jones Drumline is proud to announce a mutual endorsement agreement with Pro-Mark sticks and mallets as well as Pearl drums and Adams concert percussion.  These agreements were offered based on the continual display of excellence by the students in their percussive performances.  We are all extremely excited to be partnered with such great products!

BATTERY AUDITIONS

Auditions for the 2008-2009 Battery section will be held in the BJHS Bandroom on Friday May 16 from 4pm to 5:30pm AND Saturday May 17 from 9am to 11am.  Interested students need to bring sticks, wear tennis shoes (appropriate for marching), and be willing to adapt and contribute to the betterment of the drum line as a whole.  More details will be provided to students through their respective band directors.

Dayton Trip Itinerary

Many times are unknown at this point.  When WGI releases the finals schedule, we will be able to determine more exact times.  Friday and Saturday performances are contingent on the previous days performance.  We have to pass prelims to play at semi-finals; we have to pass semi-finals to play at finals.  We won't know our specific playing time until the end of the previous day.  We will be rehearsing somewhere at least once a day when we aren't performing or watching other groups.  Flexibility will be of utmost importance, as much of the day's schedule will not be known until the night before.
